Some time ago, people from www.berglondon.com were exploring the world of new media surfaces http://vimeo.com/16423199 One of those examples was the use of printed receipts, boarding pass, train tickets etc.. to add more value to consumers.
Recently Hellamann's has developed a similar idea by adding recipes in your purchase receipt when you have bought a Hellmann's product, kind of a #paperapp.
Other very interest idea based on printed recipts is CityTickets, where they use the parking tickects as a #crowdsourcing media to report urban problems http://www.mayonissen.com/work/citytickets/
Ok we will have to see how effective is but I love this idea. It's a fresh way on the zapping behaviour to create a 24/7 Opportunity to see as well as appetite appeal maybe at the right moment for you. Besides, viewers watching the chickens turn will occasionally see a promotional code and URL that directs watchers to Swiss Chalet's Facebook page, where varying coupons are available, from buy-one, get-one free offers, to a percentage off a meal. The promo changes daily, so chicken lovers will be basting in Swiss Chalet discounts. The Rotisserie Channel has an initial set run time of three months.
